У монографії викладені результати досліджень морфології спинного мозку та спинномозкових вузлів тварин, які належать до класів підтипу Хребетних: клас Osteichtyes – Кісткові риби (Cyprinus carpio, forma domestica L., 1758 – звичайний сазан, короп); клас Amphibia – Земноводні (Rana lessonae, 1882 – ставкова жаба); клас Reptilia – Плазуни (Lacerta agilis axigua, 1758 – прудка ящірка); клас Aves – Птахи (Gallus gallus, forma domestica L., 1758 – домашня курка); клас Mammalia – Ссавці (Oryctolagus cuniculus L., 1758 – кріль європейський, Canis lupus familiaris L., 1758 – свійський собака, Sus scrofa, forma domestica L., 1758 – домашня свиня, Bos taurus taurus L., 1758 – бик свійський).
