We are facing the global refugee crisis. Most refugees and displaced persons come from just a few countries, including Syria, Afghanistan, South Sudan, Myanmar, and Somalia, but the Russian invasion of Ukraine caused a huge unprecedented increase in migration from February 2022 into countries of the European Union. Refugees confront a multitude of obstacles, including securing fundamental needs such as food, water, shelter, and healthcare, as well as reconstructing their lives within unfamiliar communities. They have to deal with the complex social, cultural and economic environments of the host countries. Social psychologists are progressively emphasizing the significance of communication in fostering resilience among refugee populations.
Ми зіткнулися з глобальною кризою біженців. Більшість біженців і переміщених осіб походять з кількох країн, включаючи Сирію, Афганістан, Південний Судан, М'янму і Сомалі, але російське вторгнення в Україну спричинило величезне безпрецедентне зростання міграції з лютого 2022 року в країни Європейського Союзу. Біженці стикаються з безліччю перешкод, включаючи забезпечення основних потреб, таких як їжа, вода, житло та охорона здоров'я, а також перебудову свого життя в незнайомих громадах. Їм доводиться мати справу зі складним соціальним, культурним та економічним середовищем приймаючих країн. Соціальні психологи все частіше наголошують на важливості комунікації у формуванні життєстійкості серед біженців. |
