Obituaries to teachers, published in Ukrainian pedagogical journals of the beginning of XX century: «Svitlo» (Kyiv, 1910-1914), «Vilna Ukrainska Shkola» (Kyiv, 1917-1920), «Prosvitianyn-kooperator» (Romny, 1919-1920) are analyzed in the article. It is revealed that the majority of obituaries are devoted to unknown or little-known teachers, who appear in the texts of obituaries as models for inheritance, as moral guidelines for the entire teacher community. It was cleared that honoring the memory of teachers in the form of obituaries was a national trend in Ukraine in the early twentieth century, a sign of the formation of corporate culture of Ukrainian teachers. It was argued that the commemoration of colleagues in the form of obituaries indicates the solidarity of Ukrainian teachers on the basis of moral values and is a marker of mentality of the teachers’ community as a microsociety of Ukrainian society of early twentieth century. Prospective directions for further research on obituaries have been proposed.
Некрологи вчителям, опубліковані в українських педагогічних журналах початку ХХ ст.: «Світло» (Київ, 1910-1914), «Вільна українська школа» (Київ, 1917-1920), «Просвітянин-кооператор» (Ромни, 1919-1920 рр.) аналізуються в статті. Виявлено, що більшість некрологів присвячені невідомим чи маловідомим учителям, які постають у текстах некрологів як зразки для спадкування, як моральні орієнтири для всієї учительської спільноти. З’ясовано, що вшанування пам’яті вчителів у вигляді некрологів було загальнонаціональним трендом в Україні початку ХХ століття, ознакою формування корпоративної культури українського вчителя. Стверджувалося, що вшанування пам’яті колег у формі некрологів свідчить про солідарність українських педагогів на основі моральних цінностей і є маркером менталітету вчительської спільноти як мікросоціуму українського суспільства початку ХХ ст. Запропоновано перспективні напрями подальших досліджень некрологів. |
