Description У статті розглянуто сутність, особливості, головні структурні компоненти практичного інтелекту. Аргументовано важливість практичного інтелекту для ефективного формування творчої особистості в умовах позашкільної освітньої діяльності на прикладах праць вітчизняних та зарубіжних учених.
The article discusses the nature, characteristics, basic structural components of practical intelligence. The value of practical intelligence for the effective formation of a creative personality in the conditions of out-of-school educational work is argued. Practical human intelligence is aimed at developing more sophisticated ways and means of transferring information and energy. Today, students are prepared for jobs that do not yet exist and to the use of technologies that have not yet been invented to solve the problems that we still do not consider. We prepare students for designing their future environment of life. Since practical intelligence is a kind of general intelligence, we will consider the essence of this phenomenon in the widespread understanding of this concept. For a short time, two thoughts about the essence of intelligence have been circulated. According to the first of them, intelligence is a purely hereditary trait: either a person is born intelligent or not. According to the second, intelligence is related to the speed of perception or response to external stimul.
The organization of the educational process in a modern institution of extracurricular education is based on the principles of voluntariness and accessibility, independence and activity, practical orientation of activity, multidisciplinarity and variability, scientific, cognitive, informational, and methodological provision, thus creating the optimal conditions for independent creative mastering and comprehension of knowledge and expression creative and research initiative of student youth.
Standard psychometric tests measure fluid flow, because they focus on the speed of processing information and are essentially related to the capabilities of the nervous system, but they change with age, fluid intelligence has a high age capability precisely in the period of early adolescence. A here, practical intelligence accumulates knowledge, skills, abilities and various influences, therefore, the mechanism of functioning is different from the fluid.
