Соціальні інвестиції, благодійна фінансова допомога, регіональний розвиток, економічний, соціальний, екологічний вплив є важливими параметрами соціальної відповідальності університету. Ідентифіковано тенденцію зростання соціальної відповідальності університетів у процесі сталого інвестування. З’ясовано види “Sustainable investing” (Стале інвестування): “Traditional investing” (Традиційне інвестування), “Рhilanthropy” (Філантропія), “Ethical or responsible investing” (Етичне або відповідальне інвестування), “Sustainable investing” (Стале інвестування), Impact Investing (Інвестиції соціального впливу / цільове соціальне інвестування). Визначено складники залучення університетів до практики сталого інвестування: – “Integrating ESG criteria” (Інтегровані ESG критерії). – “Negative screening and divestment” (Від’ємний скринінг та дивестиція). – “Positive screening” (Позитивний скринінг). – “Sustainable Investment Funds” (Фонди сталого інвестування). – “Establishing Student managed funds that incorporate sustainable investing” (Заснування фондів сталого інвестування, що управляються студентами). – “Signing onto commitments related to Sustainable Investing” (Прийняття зобов’язань, пов’язаних зі сталим інвестуванням) включає дотримання принципів відповідального інвестування, участь у мережах інвесторів щодо кліматичного ризику та стійкості, участь у різних програмах із сталого розвитку. – “Shareholder Engagement» (Залучення стейкхолдерів) у формі голосування за довіреністю, ведення діалогу з компаніями, що перебувають у інвестиційному портфелі фонду, підготовка рішень / резолюцій акціонерів та ін. – “Forming a shareholder Responsibility Committee” (Створення Комітету з відповідальності акціонерів). – “Endowment transparency” (Прозорість ендаумент-фонду) в частині оприлюднення та надання інформації про інвестиційні вкладення ендаумент-фондів та записи голосування акціонерів за довіреністю. Social / community investments, charity donations, regional development, economic, social, environmental impact are important indicators of university social responsibility. The tendency of the rise of universities’social responsibility during sustainable investment process is identified. The types of “Sustainable investing” are clarified, which include “Traditional investing”, Рhilanthropy”, “Ethical or responsible investing”, “Sustainable investing”, Impact Investing. The components of university engagement into the sustainable investment practice are identified. The are: – “Integrating ESG criteria”. – “Negative screening and divestment”. – “Positive screening”. – “Sustainable Investment Funds”. – “Establishing Student managed funds that incorporate sustainable investing”. – “Signing onto commitments related to Sustainable Investing”, which includes adherence to the Principles for Responsible investing, participation in investor networks on climate risk and sustainability and also in various sustainable development programs. – “Shareholder Engagement” in the form of proxy voting, engaging in dialogue with companies held in the portfolio, preparation of shareholder resolutions, etc. – “Forming a shareholder Responsibility Committee”. Forming a shareholder responsibility committee to advise the trustees allows institutions to include students, faculty, and alumni in research and discussion of important corporate policies on sustainability. – “Endowment transparency” in terms of disclosure and provision of information about endowment investment holdings and shareholder proxy voting records. |
