Регулювання етнонаціональних відносин, етнонаціональна політика України все ще залишається на узбіччі уваги політичного класу держави. Цьому може бути багато пояснень, але актуалізація етнополітичних процесів, політизація етнічності, відродження етнонаціональної самосвідомості вимагають вибору оптимальної, науково виваженої моделі політики, яку має проводити держава в сфері етнонаціональних відносин. Делегітімація етнополітичної цілісності, політизація етнічності вимагають запровадження широкого спектру форм, методів, механізмів формування та реалізація державної етнонаціональної політики України. І в першу чергу це стосується її мети – забезпечення стабільності (я не кажу про гармонізацію) у міжетнічних, етнонаціональних відносинах. Regulation of ethno-national relations, ethnonational policy of Ukraine still remains on the sidelines of the political class of the state. There may be many explanations for this, but the actualization of ethnopolitical processes, the politicization of ethnicity, the revival of ethnonational self-consciousness require the choice of optimal, scientifically balanced model of policy to be pursued by the state in the field of ethnonational relations. Delegitimization of ethnopolitical integrity, politicization of ethnicity require the introduction of a wide range of forms, methods, mechanisms for the formation and implementation of state ethno-national policy of Ukraine. And first of all, it concerns its goal - to ensure stability (I’m not talking about harmonization) in interethnic, ethno-national relations.
