Дослідження присвячено компетентнісному підходу в середній освіті країн Європейського Союзу. В останні десятиріччя ХХІ ст. активізувалися наукові пошуки з теорії та практики реалізації компетентнісного підходу в освітні системи країн Європейського Союзу. У статті охарактеризована компетентнісна термінологія (щодо понять «компетентність», «ключові компетентності», «навички») в освітніх документах країн-членів ЄС. Уточнено сутність поняття «ключові компетентності», яке відносяться до набору фундаментальних умінь та навичок. Визначені відповідні знання, навички, цінності, якими повинні оволодіти учні для ефективного реагування на сучасні світові виклики. Зазначено, що ключові компетентності, які були окреслені Європейською довідковою рамкою ключових компетентностей для навчання упродовж життя (2018 р.), однаково важливі для розвитку особистості й для успішного життя у суспільстві, мають сприяти покращенню рівня освіти, розвитку якісного навчання. Акцентовано увагу на тому, що оновлена структура ключових компетенцій буде успішною, якщо її можна буде використовувати в різних секторах освіти, а також на рівні неформального та інформального навчання в країнах Європи. Зроблено висновок, що запровадження та набуття ключових компетентностей у шкільній освіті відбувається за допомогою різних підходів та залежить від індивідуальних можливостей держав-членів ЄС. В цьому контексті на особливу увагу заслуговує застосування міждисциплінарного підходу. Відзначено, що країни ЄС знаходяться на різних етапах імплементації ключових компетентностей у навчальні програми шкільної освіти. The study is devoted to the competence approach in secondary education of the European Union. In the last decades of the XXI century intensified scientific research on the theory and practice of implementing the competency approach in the educational systems of the European Union. The article reveals the competence terminology (for the concepts of “competence”, “key competencies”, “skills”) in the educational documents of member countries of the European Union. The essence of the concept of “key competencies”, which refers to a set of fundamental skills and abilities, has been clarified. Relevant knowledge, skills, values that students must master in order to respond effectively to modern world challenges are identified. It is noted that the key competencies outlined in the European Reference Framework of Key Competences for Lifelong Learning (2018), equally important for personal development and for a successful life in society, should contribute to improving the level of education, development of quality education. Emphasis is placed on the fact that the updated structure of key competencies will be successful if it can be used in various sectors of education, as well as at the level of non-formal and informal learning in European countries. It is concluded that the introduction and acquisition of key competencies in school education takes place through different approaches and depends on the individual capabilities of member countries of the EU. In this context, the application of an interdisciplinary approach deserves special attention. It is noted that the EU countries are at different stages of implementation of key competencies in school curricula. |
