У контексті історик-ретроспективного дослідження здійснюваної у незалежній Україні державної освітньої політики у мовній сфері, запропоновано звернення до витоків проблеми функціонування української мови крізь призму стислого відображення внеску Бориса Грінченка (1863-1910) у запровадження і поширення вживання української мови у початкових школах підросійської України. Висвітлено його ідеї і пошуки у галузі навчання рідної мови в умовах цензурних заборон царської влади щодо використання української мови (створення рукописних саморобних букварів, граматики, укладання «Словаря української мови»).
Аn appeal to the origins of the problem of functioning of the Ukrainian language through the prism of a concise representation of Boris Grinchenko’ (1863-1910) contribution to the introduction and spreading of the Ukrainian language in primary schools of sub-Russian Ukraine is proposed. Highlights his ideas and searches in the field of native language education in the conditions of censorship prohibitions of the tsarist government towards functioning of the Ukrainian language (creation of handwritten ABC-books, the streamlining of the "Dictionary of the Ukrainian language"). — |
