Усі соціальні системи в тій чи іншій мірі розглядають питання щастя людини. У рамках цих систем можна виділити різні підходи до щастя. Суть тоталітарної системи полягає в створенні зовнішніх для людини цілей і смислів, при цьому людина трактується як знаряддя, що служить цим цілям. Ліберально-демократична система, навпаки, орієнтується на цілі самої людини, спонукаючи її на їх досягнення. Важливим аспектом щастя людини є інтеграція її з іншими людьми і знаходженню сенсу життя. У тоталітарних системах зовні спостерігаються більш кращі умови для вищевказаних аспектів щастя. Але проблема таких соціальних утворень в їх жорсткої орієнтації на певний тип людей і групи смислів, прагненні переробити інших у відповідність з ідеальним зразком, що закономірно призводить до відчуження частини людей від суспільства або до їх відчуження від самих себе при видимості зовнішньої інтеграції з суспільством. У цілому ліберально-демократична модель організації суспільства повинна більше сприяти знаходженню людиною щастя й реалізації свого потенціалу, але вона вимагає від людини самостійності й активності в організації власного життя, що для багатьох людей є дуже складною справою. Причини останнього потребують додаткових теоретичних і емпіричних досліджень. Основна проблема побудови ліберально-демократичного суспільства полягає в тому, що можновладці завжди прагнуть узурпувати владу у своїх руках, і це призводить до створення суспільства з наявністю зовнішніх демократичних атрибутів, але яке фактично є тоталітарним, з усіма фатальними наслідками для реалізації особистістю свого внутрішнього потенціалу. Єдиним щепленням від такого стану речей є широке розповсюдження ідеалів соціальної справедливості й громадського контролю за представниками влади як фактора активації поведінки, спрямованого на виправлення існуючої соціальної системи.
All social systems in one way or another consider the issue of human happiness. Within these systems, we can distinguish different approaches to happiness. The essence of the totalitarian system is the creation of external goals and meanings for the person, while the person is treated as an instrument which serves these purposes. On the contrary, the liberal democratic system is oriented on person’s own purposes, inducing him/her to achieve them. An important aspect of human happiness is the integration of the person with other people and finding the meaning of life. It may seem that in totalitarian systems there are more favourable conditions for these aspects of happiness. But the problems of such social structures are their rigid orientation towards a certain type of people and groups of meanings, the desire to transform others in accordance with the ideal model, which naturally leads to the alienation of a part of people from society or to their alienation from themselves which is combined with the simulacrum of external integration with the society. In general, a liberal democratic model of society organization should be more helpful in finding person’s happiness and realization of his potential, but it requires person's self-dependence and activity in the organization of his/her own life, which is very difficult for many people. The main problem of constructing a liberal democratic society is that the rulers always seek to usurp power, and this leads to the creation of a society with the presence of external democratic attributes, but which is in fact totalitarian, with all fatal consequences for the personality's realization of its internal potential. The only vaccination from this state of affairs is the widespread of the ideals of social justice is aimed at correcting the existing social system. |
