Description Інноваційні процеси суспільно-економічного розвитку та зростаючий попит на фахівців високотехнологічних галузей, які здатні до комплексної наукової та інженерної діяльності, сприяли формуванню та розвитку освітнього напряму STEM, що став педагогічною інновацією ХХІ століття.
Автори визначають та окреслюють особливості, теоретичні та практичні аспекти з упровадження STEM-освіти в Україні. У виданні запропоновано моделі інтеграції формальної та неформальної осві¬ти, передусім, для обдарованих учнів, які в майбутньому можуть стати основою трансформаційних процесів для освіти загалом. Акцентовано на використанні наукового методу й інженерного дизайну в конструюванні навчальних заходів STEM, розкрито особливості освітнього STEM-середовища, за¬пропоновано методичні підходи до організації STEM-проєктів, продемонстровано їх застосування на конкретних прикладах.
Посібник спрямовано на формування більш глибокого розуміння новітніх тенденцій в освіті, які покликані підготувати нове покоління до вимог сучасної економіки. Видання призначено для вчите¬лів, викладачів, методистів, студентів закладів вищої освіти та всіх зацікавлених цим питанням осіб.
Innovative processes of socio-economic development and growing demand for specialists in high-tech industries, capable of complex scientific and engineering activities, fostered formation and developmentof STEM educational direction, which became a pedagogical innovation of the 21st century.
The authors identify and outline the features, theoretical and practical aspects of implementingSTEM education in Ukraine. The publication proposes models for integrating formal and non-formal educationfirst of allfor gifted students, who in the future may form the basis of transformational processes for education in general. Emphasis is placed on the use of scientific method and engineering design in construction of STEM training activities, the peculiarities of the educational STEM environment are revealed, methodological approaches to organization of STEM projects are offered, their application is demonstrated by specific examples.
The manual is aimed at developing a deeper understanding of the latest trends in education that are designed to prepare the next generation for the demands of today's economy. The publication is intended for teachers, methodologists, students of higher education institutions and anyone interested in the subject.
