Стаття присвячена проблемам використання наукометричних та бібліометричних систем, зокрема мультидисциплінарних баз даних Web of Science корпорації Thomson Reuters та Scopus корпорації Elsevier для інформаційно-аналітичної підтримки фундаментальних і прикладних наукових і педагогічних досліджень. Метою дослідження є визначення основних переваг використання бази даних Web of Science для наукових і педагогічних досліджень та надання пропозицій щодо пошуку даних та підбору журналів для її ефективного використання у дослідній роботі науково-педагогічних працівників. Зроблені висновки, що для наукових і науково-педагогічних працівників важливим є набуття знань, розвиток вмінь та навичок щодо роботи з відкритими науково-освітніми системами, бібліометричними, вебометричними і наукометричними базами даних, каталогами, особливостями публікування у вітчизняних та зарубіжних виданнях, підвищення бібліометричних показників та ін. Важливе значення має розвиток компетентності щодо роботи з інформаційними ресурсами в міжнародних інформаційно-аналітичних базах даних, таких як «Web of Science» і «Scopus», оскільки вони є необхідною умовою щодо глобалізації науки, успішної професійної діяльності в наукових вітчизняних та зарубіжних установах, закладах вищої освіти, закладах післядипломної педагогічної освіти та ін.
The article deals with the problem of the usining scientometric and bibliometric systems, in particular, the Thomson Reuters and Scopus multidisciplinary databases of the Thomson Reuters and Elsevier Corporation Scopus, which are one of the forms of information and analytical support for fundamental and applied scientific and pedagogical researches. The purpose of the study is to determine the main advantages of using the Web of Science database as an information and analytical support for scientific and pedagogical researches and to provide a proposal for the search for data and the selection of journals for its effective use in the research work of scientific and pedagogical workers. It is concluded that the acquisition of knowledge, skills and abilities for work with open scientific and educational systems, bibliometric, webometric and science databases, catalogs, peculiarities of publishing in domestic and foreign publications, and the improvement of bibliometric indicators is important for scientific and pedagogical workers. It is important to develop the competence in working with information resources in international information and analytical databases, such as "Web of Science" and "Scopus", as they are a prerequisite for the globalization of science, successful professional activities in scientific native and foreign institutions, higher pedagogical educational establishments, institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education, etc. |
