The problems of accuracy determining for a set of tonal analysis methods are considered. One of the problems in this area is the phenomenon of blurring of the spectrum in which the signal cannot be clearly identified on the frequency axis. A possible solutions appears to be the development of new digital phase-frequency analysis methods adapted to the requirements of modern equipment. The aim is to analyze approaches to determine the accuracy of the methods derived from analytical relations, the error determining and the optimal parameters of the equipment with the limited bit. Apriori methods for determining the frequency and phase parameters of the single-tone, bi-tone and poli-tone signals are described. Comparative analysis of the accuracy characteristics of these methods makes it possible to select the optimum, and therefore cheaper than currently used, the equipment for phase-frequency real-time analysis with the predefined error. Calculation of the required bit for fixed-point computers is made for the methods which allow calculating exactly the frequency and phasing parameters of a signal consisting of harmonic components. |
