The proposed method for manufacture of a multilayer prestressed composite flow-wheel rim with a polymer matrix involves setting sequentially individual rings, one on top of the other, with interference fit. The mating areas of each ring a coated with adhesive material and each or only one ring is deformed in the radial direction to provide an assured clearance between the mating surfaces. |
