Tesla coil, despite the simplicity of its design may be called one of the least studied electronic devices. The article is an attempt to bring in various experimental results of general theoretical framework, which is the basis of exact calculation method of Tesla coils. Such calculation should be the starting point to create devices based on it. In order to develop such methods were considered the general principles of designing Tesla coil, reviewed the most famous mathematical models of its work, given formula for the Tesla coil electrical parameters and experimental evaluation of their accuracy. It is shown that for the calculation of certain electrical parameters of the Tesla coil is better to use empirical formulas since the exact simulation Tesla coil significantly hampered by the need to take into account many factors. |
