The paper studies the dynamic instability of face milling, which is due to an increase in traffic performance blade flat surfaces. Selection of promising treatment methods, the development and introduction of new designs of instruments are not possible without analysis of dynamic processes in the technological process system (TOS). The article describes the features of the dynamics of face milling. On the basis of the dynamic model developed vibrations end mill researches of the stability of the cutting process of different types of mills: a standard, three-stage 12-cutters and stepped cutters with cutting elements disposed in three helices, with a different pitch angle and separation allowance in depth are perfomed. Comparative analysis of different designs of cutting mills showed higher dynamic stability staggered cutters compared to the standard. Also, the use of individual resonant circuits with vibration isolation and damping in the construction of mills increases its resistance to the appearance of oscillations in the TOC. |
