Сучасний світ,перенасичений інформацією, вимагає переосмислення ролі вчителя. Традиційно вчитель був основним джерелом відомостей для учнів. Саме він систематизував, обробляв і передавав накопичені попередніми поколіннями знання дітям. Тепер роль головного постачальника інформації, фактів, думок, поглядів перейшла до Інтернету. Однак інформація, представлена пошуковими системами, не завжди правильно підібрана, науково обгрунтована та надійна. Тому зменшилася роль педагога як простого "перекладача" знань, але збільшилася його цінність як людини, здатної навчити дітей вмінням знаходити, аналізувати, інтерпретувати та структурувати отриману інформацію. Також зростають вимоги до психологічної культури викладачів, їх здатності забезпечувати гармонію та рівновагу у взаємодії між людьми.
The modern world saturated with information, requires a rethinking the teacher role Traditionally, the teacher was the main source of information for students and that he systematized, processed and passed on accumulated knowledge for children.
