У статті проаналізовано сутність поняття науково-методичної роботи в добу освітніх змін, при цьому звернемо увагу на витоки його в історії педагогіки. Обґрунтовано методологію сучасної науково-методичної роботи. Виокремлено основні напрями її, форми і методи щодо забезпечення професійного розвитку педагогів. Визначено особливості науково-методичної роботи з учителями на регіональному рівні.
