Переважна більшість ВНЗ України ІІІ-IV рівня акредитації, за даними Державної служби статистики України, готує фахівців з того чи іншого напряму інженерії. За даними ЮНЕСКО на 2005–2006 рр. Україна посідає п’яте місце в світі за кількістю студентів інженерних спеціальностей, поступаючись лише таким країнам, як Сполучені Штати Америки, Республіка Корея, Японія та Іран (у порівняльній таблиці були відсутні данні щодо кількості студентів у Російській Федерації). Згідно цих статистичних досліджень, в Україні готується вдвічі більше кваліфікованих інженерів ніж таких країнах, як Германія, Іспанія та Італія, і майже втричі більше, ніж в Польщі, Франції та Великобританії. Це свідчить про значний науково-технічний потенціал нашої країни та її спроможність забезпечити світовий попит на кваліфікованих інженерних спеціалістів. Але для того, щоб забезпечити конкурентоздатність випускників технічних ВНЗ України на міжнародному рівні, потрібно приділити особливу увагу розвитку їх професійної мобільності, мовних, комунікаційних компетентностей та компетентностей у сфері передових ІКТ.

Under these statistical studies in Ukraine is preparing to double the qualified engineers than countries such as Germany, Spain and Italy, and almost three times higher than in Poland, France and the UK. This indicates a significant scientific and technical potential of our country and its ability to provide global demand for qualified engineering professionals. But in order to ensure the competitiveness of graduates of technical universities in Ukraine at the international level, you need to pay special attention to the development of professional mobility, language, communication competencies and advanced competencies in the field of ICT. |
